We've stayed BUSY!

So in the last couple weeks we have stayed pretty busy. Between swim days, birthday parties, our 9th Anniversary, and so on it just never seems to stop! But I enjoy it VERY much! Okay so here are some pictures of some of the things we've been up to...

Here's Raegan dressing up with all her jewels and enjoying her new vanity from cousin Jordan!

This is the kids after celebrating Mommy & Daddy's 9th Anniversary at El Torito! Yummy food and fun times :D

That weekend we went to the OC Fair with our friends. We had SO much fun!!! The kids enjoyed looking at all the animals, looking at all the neat fruits and vegitables growing and comparing them to what is trying to grow here at our house;) , Raegan recieved her first application of lipstick from "auntie" Karie (Daddy was obviously not watching:) , playing games, winning a new fish and Ryan even went on rides (not just any rides...roller coasters) all by HIMSELF!!! What a big boy. He is normally my bashful one who is super cautious and not out going. SO proud of him. Poor Raegan is just too small still. Which is completely okay with Mommy!

So in between all of these events we have been having fun doing other thing in which I did not have my camera ready for like Ryan being completely POTTY TRAINED!!! He has not worn a diaper or pull up in about 3 weeks. He is doing SO awesome with that. I am even able to leave the bathroom while he's pooping now;)

Then there was the moment of "OH NO!!!" I went through today. Ryan and I went out back to water the plants. Raegan had gotten in trouble as we were walking out and had to go to time out. Then a couple minutes later Ryan needed to go potty so I went to open the slider to take him potty and...the door is LOCKED! I tried to talk her through unlocking the door, I went around the house looking for any unlocked window or door...nothing! So I went back to trying to talk to her through the double paned slider. Then I just realized "this is NOT working!" Thankfully I had actually gotten dressed before going out back to water this morning. I took Ryan half dressed next door to the neighbors with me to (embarassing enough as it was) borrow their phone. Then I wondered who do I call? The fire dept. or my husband. I chose Daddy. He didn't have much to say other than "Are you serious?!?! I guess I have to come home?!" So I went back to the backyard to keep watch over Raegan through the slider while we waited for Daddy to drive home from Anaheim. As I was watching her I realized how sad this whole thing was. She was just staring at me with these discusting boogies running down into her mouth with her "motnie" (blankie) calling my name. Then I didn't want her to be scared so I was smiling, laughing and playing with her (through the slider;). There were a few times she wandered away from my view and freaked me out. But finally, 40 minutes later Daddy got home and came through the front door and completely shocked Raegan. Needless to say I got the spare key lecture and Raegan was taught, by Daddy, how to unlock the back door (not too sure how I feel about that actually). You know, this was a pretty stressful situation but I was blown away at how calm I stayed. The Lord was totally with me and reassuring me that nothing bad is going to happen and that I would look back and giggle at this later. Thank You Lord!!!

Catch Up Time

So, once again, I have a lot of catching up to do. Lots of things have happened since I last posted anything. First would be my AWESOME birthday. We got together with family for dinner. My amazing husband spoiled me. On my birthday he gave me an awesome new beach cruiser, which I had been asking for endlessly. Then when he got home from work he had his parents come over and watch the kids while he took me out to dinner, which was all a surprise!!! THEN, as if that was not enough, he through me a surprise party! Yep, he did!!! He is AMAZING!!!This is a picture of my cake that my family took to document just how many candles they had to put in my cake this year and how many holes it made in the cake!

The mood changed a few days later when our sweet baby girl fell and dislocated her elbow. I ended up taking her for her first trip the the ER. A few hours later we were home and she was in a sling. She healed up within a few days, thankfully!

We have been spending a lot of time outside, swimming, playing, going on bike rides, having friends over, ultimately having a great summer so far!

And then there was the 4th of July! We had SO much fun. We went to Aunt Betty & Uncle Joes to watch the Trabuco Canyon 4th of July Parade, which has become a tradtion. The kids loved watching the Firetucks, Horses, and other attractions, BUT the family favorite is always our Unicycling Sottosanto's!!! We had a great 4th, but we were certainly pooped by the end of the day!

We made it!

Okay, so I have had the dreaded annual female appt. sched. for this morning for over a month now. I have been so busy with my sister's bridal shower that I had not put much thought into it. It dawned on me Sunday that I had the appt. this morning. Well not much time for planning. But, honestly, after I thought about it I thought here is yet another challenge I can try to over come. If you know me I am not one to except help easily. I like a good challenge.

SO...this morning came. I got the kids fed, dressed, and ready to go. Then still needed to get myself ready. I washed my face (during that time both kids had pushed their chairs into the bathroom and were standing on each side of me pulling things out of my makeup bag and drawers). I then got 1/2 dressed. I was so tired from the weekend that the thought passed through my head, as I starred at myself in the mirror, "Why am I even worried about what I look like? I am going to the Gyn's office." But then I realized how horrible I looked and wondered what my midwife (whom I have been seeing forever) would think of the state of my life if she saw me walk in looking the way I did. So I proceeded to put something on that matched, put makeup on my face, and even flat ironed my hair. By this time I am now running late. I finally get out the door and on the car when I realize I still need gas. Ugh!

The whole way to the office I was telling the kids that if they were good they would get a treat. I knew there would not be room in the exam room for the double stroller so I brought the umbrella stroller and put Raegan in it and made Ryan walk. He was upset about that and thought that wasn't right. So, before we even got out of the parking lot we had our first tantrum. I did my usual "Be a BIG brother" talk and away we went. Or should I say away Ryan went with Raegan in the stroller across the parking lot. That's right, he thought that since he didn't get to enjoy the ride he'd go ahead and give the ride. After finally making it into the building and up the elevator we were finally in the check in line. While we were waiting Ryan proceeded to do wheelies with the stroller while Raegan was in it and shake her all over the place and came too close to running into the poor man in front of us.

Ok, we are finally called back. Ryan will not stop saying "Mommy me habe tweet?!?!" over and over and over!!! The woman is taking my BP and, can you believe it? it's much higher than usual. You can tell that she is completely beside herself on why anyone would bring their 19 month old and 34 month old to any female appt. We are following the nurse to the room and just as I turn around to give Ryan my evil eye and sternly say to him "WALK FASTER!!!" I look up and notice we are walking past my midwife's office. She just starts laughing at me hysterically. So I get "ready" for my exam get the kids set up with carrots and lay back.

I do have to say that during the exam my kids were awesome! They sat there and listened and ate their snack. But the second my feet were off the stirrups Raegan lost it. She threw her binki on the floor, her baby, her blankie, and looked like Emily Rose from the Exorcist trying to get out of the stroller. I have never gotten dressed quicker. We were off. We made it, we're done.

Until Mommy decides that since we are right near Daddy's work maybe we should go have lunch with him?!?!...

I am sure you can paint that picture.

They were so excited to be there and seeing everything and Daddy took Ryan for a ride on the forklift and they ran around saying "Hi" to everyone. Then 1:15 came around and lunch was over. I think that they thought we were there to hang out for the day cause as soon as we started saying good bye everyone unraveled.

Ryan screamed bloody murder across the parking lot, Raegan was trying to get out of my arms. Thank goodness Raegan fell asleep fairly soon after I was driving. But my dear sweet precious Ryan screamed that same way all the way from Buena Park to Corona on the 91. He looked like the male version of Emily Rose.

I hurried everyone in the house, changed diapers, and got everyone in bed. The only problem is...Raegan didn't want to go back to sleep. So now she is wondering around the house right now. And I have no idea where she is so I better go find her and see what she is getting into.

Oh the life...

Proud Mama!

I am SO proud of my litte guy this morning. Jesse and I have been trying to prepare him for turning 3. It is a pretty big deal in our house. Why you ask? Well because for months and months now we have been informing Ryan that when he turns 3 he becomes a very big boy and it's then time to have NO MORE binkis. Binkis are for babies!

Well he turns 3 in August. However he has had 2 binkis in his crib with him. So I was hoping to get rid of them gradually. Awhile back he bit a hole in one of his binkis so we told him it was time to throw it in the trash and let the trash truck take it away. He still reminds us every time he hears or see's a trash truck that "trash guck took bue binki!!" We remind him each time he reminds us that "Well that's ok because you are going to be a big boy soon so you don't need anymore binki's"!!!

This morning we went outside to watch the trash truck do his thing. We watched him start at one end of the street and then make his way to the other end. And, without fail, he, yet again, reminded me of that one time when the "trash guck took bue binki!". I saw an opportunity! I asked him "Are you ready to give the trash truck another one of your binki's?" There was no hesitation, he said "Yeah!" So we ran inside to his room and I held out both of his binki's and he chose which one to give to trash truck this morning. He, to my amazement, chose the best one he had. So we ran back outside and I pick him up and he put it in the big trash can and we watched the trash truck take yet another binki!!!
WHAT A BIG BOY! This is Ryan right after we came in! He's pretty proud of himself!

I thought I would go ahead and post some other pictures from the past few weeks while I'm at it.
Here's the kids playing in their box house Uncle Bob made for them. Raegan trying to ride a big wheel. Here's mom, Aunt Betty and Shanna with the Bride To Be at David's Bridal. Poor Auntie Betty could not stand to laugh with us, she fractured her ribs over Mother's Day weekend. I think her memory must have been foggy from the pain med's ;) since she obviously forgot who all she was going shopping with that day. Laughter is always guaranteed with that crowd. Here's the bride to be with most of her bridesmaids in front of David's Bridal. Here we are all pooped out! And here's the start to my very first home garden!

So there you have it. A short summary to the past couple weeks. We have many exciting things happening here at the Moore house in the next few weeks so stay tuned!

Fun, Fun & more Fun!

We have had some GREAT times lately! The kids have able to hang out with a lot of other kids which is SO awesome!

We got to hang out with Noah and Maia one day last week. Ryan had so much fun hanging out with Noah for the day.
Raegan was busy practicing her free styling skills to be bothered with socializing though.

Then the following day we got to go spend the day at my best friends house. The kids always have a good time over there.
Ryan FINALLY peddled...They enjoyed feeding her turtles...

Saturday we went down to Doheny for the day for Reid's 3rd birthday party. SO much fun! The kids had a bunch of fun. Raegan was hillarious though. She did not like the sand in her toes so she wore socks the whole time. When she'd fall down she would land on her elbows in fear that her hands would touch the sand. I would never thought my little dare devil would dislike sand so much. Ryan ended up likeing the water even after telling me on the way there that he didn't want to go to the ocean cause thats where sharks are. He even accidently took a swim and thought it was funny!

I was so proud of them how how well they behaved. They LOVE getting out of the house!
