So here is an update on "The Moore's"...
Ryan is 30 months old now. He is doing SO good with his speech.
His teacher, Holly, comes to the house 2X a week to work with him
on his speech. She is amazing. Jesse and I are actually hearing
Ryan attempt sentences. It's so awesome. And just so you can all say "I told you so" I have officially entered the phase of "will he ever stop talking?" He just talks and talks and talks. Most of the time only Jesse and I know what he is saying but he's getting there! He thoroughly enjoys being with his daddy and, you'd never know it by watching the way he treats her, but he doesn't really know what to do with himself when Raegan is napping. He misses her when she not there but he's not very nice to her when
she is. They have a very love/hate relationship ;)
Raegan is 15 months old now. She is SO busy & the one I have a
hard time keeping up with. She is into everything, climbs
everything & intentionally falls down, she constantly has has
bruises and bumps and is my little Energizer bunny! As we speak she is carrying her baby's stroller (which is as big as her) across the room vs. pushing and with out a struggle. She is such a good girl though. She loves being with her family and especially loves
cuddling with mommy and daddy at the end of the day. She still is
tries to interact with Ryan and play with him but he is still not all
the fond of her. She is constantly getting pushed & pinched but is
still a trooper and keeps trying. He'll come around Raegan!
Then theres Jesse and I. We are both doing great! We just took our first trip alone together since before we had Ryan, over 3 years ago. It was AMAZING! We went up to Big Bear and stayed at a friends house, he was out of town. We ate out, relaxed, played in the snow, watched movies and enjoyed our time alone. It was
very cold, the first night it was 17 degrees at 9pm. We had to have
house. But it is a small place so it didn't take long to heat it up. The
following day we went and played in the snow. Just up the street
theres were all these hills we went sledding down. It was so gorgeous. Powder white snow and beautiful pine trees everywhere. I loved every moment of it. Our second night there it snowed...just amazing! I had never seen snow fall. It was just beautiful! I did not know that when snow falls, no matter how big it is, it actually looks like snow flakes. I could not stop staring at it. Then the next morning it was time to go home. I was excited to see the kids, scared to drive home in the snow, and sad to leave all at the same time. It was an amazing trip and I can not wait to do that again.

Oooh I'm jealous of your romantic mountain trip! Ricky and I need to do a trip like that. We haven't been away together alone since before Noah was born...Oh yeah, I tried to become a follower of your blog but it doesn't give me the option!
I just read about your son's speech delay on Bridget's site and just stopped in. . .my son had 2 teachers from Regional Center/Pediatric Care Specialists from 2 to 3. He tested out shortly after his third b-day and will be four in a few weeks. I'm amazed at his vocabulary and love that he has come so far!!! Many blessings to you and your family!
